Michael is an alumnus of China Europe International Business School and holds an Executive MBA degree. Originally graduated in banking, he has over 27 years of experience in financial services, industry, consulting, training, and coaching.
Michael began his professional career in banking before moving to China in 2000 to join Siemens. At Siemens, he held various senior leadership posts, eventually rising to Director of Strategic Management, Business Excellence, and Strategic Marketing for a Siemens Energy subsidiary with three manufacturing sites, 1,600 employees, and 20 sales offices across China. He then focused on consultative roles, becoming Chief Representative for China with North Highland and, subsequently, Managing Director with Accenture China.
Throughout the course of his professional career, Michael has successfully generated company and customer value through strategy implementation, general and commercial management, product management, complex project and change management, risk analysis, operations and enterprise performance management, HR and organization development, as well as sales and marketing.
Michael embraced digital technology and digital business transformation as early as 2002, initially supporting ERP, CRM, and SRM implementations. He continues to do so, particularly by driving digital transformation programs with automotive players such as BMW, Daimler, Volkswagen, and Ford Motor Company.
Michael has significant experience as consultant, trainer, coach and facilitator worldwide. His competency includes leadership skills, digital business transformation, strategic management, finance and performance management, and train-the-trainer programs. He has advised, trained and coached executives and management teams at a diverse range of clients, including Airbus, Audi, AT&S, BASF, Bayer, BMW, Bosch, BP, Brose, Daimler, Ford, Geely, GTJA, Inditex, JLR, Lego, Lenze, Novartis, SAIC, Schaeffler, Torres, Universal Studios, Vino Concha y Toro, VW, Würth, and many more.
Michael Adick has been part of one of our strategic Customer Experience projects in the automotive industry since August 2019 as Project Manager and Subject Matter expert, and shows outstanding results, commitment, communication and management skills as well as a profound knowledge of the Chinese Market and culture.
